New Advisory Board for TMJ brings together the best minds from global media, brand strategy, and sports advocacy

November 21, 2025 (San Jose, CA) – TMJ, the leading global agency exclusively dedicated to women’s football, today announced the formation of its new Advisory Board ahead of the 2025 NWSL Championship Weekend.

This board brings together the best minds from global media, brand strategy, and sports advocacy to guide TMJ’s next phase of growth and industry influence. In addition, these highly accomplished leaders believe in TMJ’s vision to create a more rewarding and equitable future for women football players around the world.

The 2026-2027 TMJ Advisory Board Members include:

The board will meet regularly to provide guidance on strategic planning, offer domain expertise, and share industry insights in order to accelerate TMJ’s recent growth sustainably as it strengthens its positions in key markets.

ANDREA PEREZ

Andrea Perez is a renowned marketing executive, board director, and advocate for women and girls in sport who continues to shape the future of global sport and culture through her influential leadership across major organizations and brands. With more than two decades of experience transforming world-class businesses, Ms. Perez has earned a reputation as one of the industry’s most dynamic and visionary leaders.

Ms. Perez currently serves on the Board of Directors at Hims & Hers (NYSE: HIMS), where she chairs the Compensation Committee, and is the Vice President of the board of USTA Coaching Inc., a groundbreaking new venture from the United States Tennis Association. She is also a trustee emeritus of the Women’s Sports Foundation, the nation’s leading advocate for women in sports, where she previously chaired the Governance Committee.

A former Senior Vice President at PlayStation, Ms. Perez led Brand, Product, and Services Marketing globally—driving record-breaking business growth, accelerating cultural relevance, and pushing forward industry-leading representation in gaming. Prior to PlayStation, she spent nearly twenty years at Nike, where she held multiple senior leadership roles across Jordan Women’s, Jordan Kids, North America Soccer, Women’s, Tennis, and Global Football. Her leadership redefined how brands empower female athletes and built new pathways for women across sport and culture. She also co-founded the Women of Nike employee network, which remains one of the company’s most influential communities.

Ms. Perez is a sought-after advisor to national and international startups across sports, entertainment, wellness, and digital transformation. She has been recognized as one of Adweek’s Most Powerful Women in Sports and named to FourFourTwo’s list of the most influential people in North American soccer.

A former collegiate soccer and softball player, Ms. Perez holds a BA from Tecnológico de Monterrey—where she was honored as one of the Tec75 Defining Alumni—and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, where she received the Julia Stell Award for Leadership. She is also a member of the ownership group of Liga MX’s Querétaro FC, extending her impact into the global football landscape.

OLEK LOEWENSTEIN

Olek Loewenstein is the President of Global Sports at TelevisaUnivision, the world’s leading Spanish-language media and content company. He oversees sports programming across all platforms — free-to-air television, cable networks, streaming, digital outlets, and radio — driving strategy, growth, and market leadership in sports content across all markets.

With more than 20 years of experience across media, production, and strategy, Mr. Loewenstein has been recognized as one of the industry’s top executives. He is a multiple Emmy Award–winning producer and was named to Sports Business Journal’s “Top Forty Under 40” list in 2018.

At the helm of TelevisaUnivision’s sports division, TUDN, Mr. Loewenstein leads a bi-national, state-of-the-art production hub that generates over 10,000 hours of content annually. He oversees rights acquisition with a portfolio exceeding $1 billion and manages the largest live soccer rights offering in the industry, including Liga MX, the Mexican National Teams, U.S. National Teams, FIFA World Cup, NFL, MLB, Formula 1, Olympic Games, UEFA Champions League, CONCACAF Gold Cup, and CONMEBOL properties. TelevisaUnivision’s sports programming under his leadership reaches audiences worldwide, with distribution across the U.S., Mexico, Central America, Latin America, and Spain.

Mr. Loewenstein also spearheaded the launch of sports content within ViX, TelevisaUnivision’s global streaming service, which has since become the largest Spanish-language streaming platform in the world. In 2019, he led the groundbreaking TUDN collaboration between Univision and Grupo Televisa, integrating operations to maximize production scale, innovation, and reach across North America.

Before joining Univision, he worked at Samsung’s Global Strategy Group in Seoul, where he partnered with the Chairman’s office to design and oversee strategic initiatives worldwide. He began his career in consulting at Ernst & Young and Accenture, focusing on consumer growth strategies and customer relationship management.

Mr. Loewenstein holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela and an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore, along with a specialization in media from UCLA and IESE

CAROL STIFF

Carol Stiff is a nationally recognized television sports executive credited with advancing the growth of women’s sports at the collegiate and professional level through innovative linear/digital/streaming programming, collaborative partnerships, and tireless advocacy. A 2021 Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, a 2021 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s John W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, as well as an Edward R. Murrow award winner. A frequent industry panelist, she has deep relationships throughout the sports media universe.

Ms. Stiff spent 31 years at ESPN, retiring in July 2021. She is now the President of Stiff Sports Media Consulting, LLC. She is presently Chair of the Women’s Sports Network Advisory Board. The Women’s Sports Network was launched in September 2022. She also serves as an advisor for ShotTracker Inc. and Program Production Inc.

Before her departure, she had become one of the most influential people in women’s college sports, particularly in collegiate basketball, where ESPN has held the exclusive NCAA tournament rights since 1996. Over her tenure at ESPN Ms. Stiff was responsible for the acquisition and programming of a variety of sports including NCAA women’s basketball, various NCAA Men’s & Women’s championships (NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship, FCS Football Championship, College World Series, Women’s College World Series, lacrosse, volleyball, soccer), WNBA, professional softball and more across multiple platforms including ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, ESPN+.

From 2013 to 2016, Ms. Stiff served as Vice President of content integration for the espnW business. In that role, she was tasked with leading the company’s efforts to integrate espnW content across ESPN platforms.

As a member of ESPN’s employee committee supporting The V Foundation for Cancer Research, Ms. Stiff had been a leader in the company’s efforts to benefit the Foundation. She was responsible with the launch of the Jimmy V Week and in raising awareness for The V Foundation for cancer research. She presently serves on the Women’s Sports Foundation Board of Governors, Past President of the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Board of Trustees, Collegiate Women’s Sports Awards Board of Directors and the Pat Summitt Alzheimer’s Advisory Board.

Before joining ESPN, Ms. Stiff worked in college athletics, coaching at Brown University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Western Connecticut State University. Her most recent honor was to be named as a 2025 Sports Business Journal Champion, which honors “Pioneers & Innovators in Sports Business” annually. Adding to her list of credentials, Ms. Stiff was inducted into the Connecticut Basketball Hall of Fame in April 2005; was named the “Top Advocate for Women’s Basketball” by the Tampa Tribune in 2008; in 2009 Sports Business Journal recognized her as one of the most influential executives leading the way in women’s sports; and was awarded the 2011 WBCA Mel Greenberg Media Award for her commitment to women’s basketball and advancing the role of the media in the game. In April 2013, Ms. Stiff received the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health Leadership Award. In June 2013, Ms. Stiff was recognized by the Alliance of Women Coaches as a “Bigger Picture of Being a Champion” and a WISE Woman of the Year. Ms. Stiff was honored as one of Business Insider’s 50 Most Influential People Behind the Scenes in Sports in August 2014. Sports Business Journal named her one of 35 “Game Changers of 2016” for her role at ESPN, in addition to serving as a mentor to young executives.

Ms. Stiff is a native of Bernardsville, N.J. She graduated from Southern Connecticut State University, earning a BS in 1983 and an MS in 1989. While in school, she competed in both basketball and field hockey.

WILL WILSON

Throughout his diverse career in the sports industry, Mr. Wilson launched major initiatives at the league, team, agency, international, domestic and non-profit levels.

He is currently the President of GalwayPlus Sports + Entertainment, a new division of GalwayHoldings that represents a first-of-its-kind sports and entertainment platform within the wealth and risk management landscape designed to serve the complex needs of individuals, teams, leagues and organizations operating within the sectors.

Prior to joining Galway, Mr. Wilson served as CEO of U.S. Soccer, where he led historic collective bargaining negotiations that resulted in equal pay for the Men’s and Women’s National Teams. He also guided the Federation through the Covid-19 pandemic, made the strategic decision to bring Federation commercial rights in-house in 2023, secured a 10-year renewal with Nike, and locked in an eight-year English-language media rights deal with Warner Media.

Before U.S. Soccer, Mr. Wilson was the Executive Vice President and Co-Head of American Football at Wasserman where he launched its National Football League (NFL) talent representation practice. He also held executive positions with Major League Soccer/Soccer United Marketing and the Arena Football League. Further, as the Managing Director of NFL Mexico, Wilson was pivotal in facilitating the first-ever international regular season NFL game, which was held in Mexico City in 2005.

Born in London, England, Wilson graduated from Kenyon College where he was a four-year varsity athlete in American football. Additionally, he holds an MBA from the Tecnológico de Monterrey Graduate School of Business (EGADE) in Monterrey, Mexico.

ISABELLA ECHEVERRI

Isabella Echeverri is a former professional footballer, Olympian, and FIFA Legend whose courage to live by her values transformed her career and her life. As a captain of the Colombian Women’s National Team, she led by example on the field and off it, became one of the first athletes in Latin America to publicly challenge inequality in sport.

Today, Ms. Echeverri brings that same authenticity to global stages as a bilingual broadcaster for Telemundo/NBCUniversal and a consultant at the intersection of sports, technology, and purpose-driven leadership. Serving as a board member with Common Goal USA and as co-founder of one of the biggest gender equity movements in Latin America, Somos Equidad, reflects her belief that success is not measured by trophies, but by the impact we create.

Prior to her television career, she was a professional soccer player for Formas Intimas of Colombia, Elpides Karditsas of Greece, captain of Sevilla FC of Spain, and Rayados in Mexico where she played the Copa Libertadores and the Champions League. She represented Colombia for every single international tournament possible including the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup™ and 2016 Summer Olympics making her one of the first ever Latina to be named a FIFA Legend in women’s football.

After her playing career, Ms. Echeverri took her experiences and transitioned to a role at FIFPRO where she helped player unions from around the world develop and implement national strategies for women’s football.

A native of Medellín, Colombia, Ms. Echeverri earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo. In October 2025, Ms. Echeverri made history by becoming the first Latina to graduate from the prestigious UEFA Executive Master for International Players, an exclusive program designed for former professional footballers seeking to lead the new era of global sports. With this achievement, Isa earned her fourth master’s degree, cementing her status as one of the most academically accomplished athletes in the world.
