December 15, 2025 (Fort Worth, TX) – TMJ is pleased to announce that US National Team Goalkeeper Casey Murphy has signed to the newest NWSL franchise Boston Legacy from the North Carolina Courage.
The Bridgewater, New Jersey native joined the North Carolina Courage in October of 2022 after two seasons with the OL (Seattle) Reign. Murphy began her professional career with Montpelier in 2018, gaining UEFA Women’s Champions League experience and earning the Division 1 Best Goalkeeper Award in 2017-18. She also won the NWSL Challenge Cup in 2022 and 2023 with North Carolina.
On the international level, Casey has represented the United States at multiple youth levels and made her senior national team debut in 2021. Casey’s accomplishments began even before transitioning to the professional sector. She was also named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year twice, was a two-time All-American and was a 2017 MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist.
