QUEEN DEYNA PROGRAM – THE LEGACY

Since her humble beginnings in Maracay, Venezuela, Deyna Castellanos’ love for soccer was a lifelong commitment. At 16, on her own and with passion fueling her, she moved to the United States, joining Florida State University’s soccer team, where she would become NCAA National Champion in 2018 and was named a two-time NCAA All-American. She was also nominated for the FIFA Best & Puskás award at just 18-years-old.

After her personal experience as an international student who left home to obtain an education in the United States, Deyna realized the importance of education and sport and created the Queen Deyna Program to help others like her.

The program:
• Provides student athletes with scholarships to study in the United States
• Donates sports equipment
• Organizes local tournaments that foster talent, community and networkingopportunities

El legado que @jennihermoso deja en México va más allá de los trofeos: es inspiración y oportunidades para las futuras generaciones. Por eso, en colaboración con Fundación Tigres y TMJ Foundation decidió rehabilitar un espacio deportivo en @osfmonterrey para que 45 niñas y adolescentes tengan un lugar seguro y digno donde puedan desarrollarse deportivamente. 🩵

México ha sido parte importante de la historia profesional y personal de Jenni, siendo esta iniciativa una forma de regresar el apoyo que recibió de la afición mexicana.
