April 23, 2024 (Fort Worth, TX) – TMJ Athlete Haley Hopkins, forward for the Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), has been elected as the NWSL Players Association (NWSLPA) President by her peers.

“The players association is so vital to the everyday lives of our players,” said Hopkins on the Full Time podcast by The Athletic. “I wanted to take on more responsibility with the PA, and I just care so deeply for the work that we do.”

“Haley’s athletic talent has always shined through on the pitch,” shared TMJ Agent and Co-Founder Oscar Gonzalez. “Seeing her step into a leadership role with the NWSL Players Association shows how truly gifted she is off of the pitch as well. We are truly honored to continue to support Haley in all of her endeavors.”

Haley Hopkins is a Newport Beach, California native who was the 11th overall draft pick during the 2023 NWSL Draft by the North Carolina Courage and had an impressive rookie season, playing over 1400 minutes across 23 games. She signed with the Kansas City Current in January of this year.

Hopkins will work in close concert with fellow TMJ Athletes: Utah Royals player representative Alex Loera and Portland Thorns representative Reyna Reyes on NWSLPA business during the upcoming year.
