From grassroots to greatness: growing women’s football together.

TMJ / Foundation
In 2015, TMJ Co-founder Guillermo Zamarripa sought to create a pathway for young girls and women athletes to attain higher education — and to build professional football careers. The Sports & Education Foundation, which he began almost 10 years ago, is still providing this pathway thanks to TMJ’s many efforts and a multitude of soccer-industry partnerships.
Our Vision
To be a leading advocate for positive change through women’s football, creating a future where every girl, adolescent, and woman athlete has equal access to opportunities for growth, leadership, and success.
Queen Deyna Program — the Legacy.
This program was created by TMJ Athlete, Venezuelan Soccer Icon, and current Bay FC player Deyna Castellanos in partnership with Nike in 2020. Its goal is to empower young girls and women student-athletes to further their education and sports opportunities.
The Legacy Program has:
- Empowered over 50 players worldwide
- Provided over 4.6 million dollars of impact

I wouldn’t be who I am today without the education I received at Florida State. It opened the door to opportunities I didn’t even know existed, changed me, and equipped me with the intellectual capacity to face my professional career with a strong mindset. There’s nothing I want more than to see the new generation of young girls to have similar life-changing experiences and I am committed to helping them find their way.
