Founded in the United States, the company\u00a0represents\u00a0athletes from more than 19 countries and works exclusively with players and professionals\u00a0within the women\u2019s football industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In their\u00a0portfolio, there are names such as Luisa Agudelo, the\u00a0[former]\u00a0San Diego Wave and the Colombian national team\u00a0player, the jewel Claudia Mart\u00ednez, of Washington Spirit, and Daniela Arias, ex-Corinthians.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the next few years, the agency intends to expand its operations in Brazil, so far\u00a0consisting of\u00a0intermediation\u00a0services\u00a0in international transfers, and sees the country as a centerpiece in the global development of women&#8217;s football. The history of TMJ is a story\u00a0of investment, of believing in the sport\u00a0and of\u00a0being patient,\u201d\u00a0said Guillermo Zamarripa, in an exclusive interview with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lance.com.br\/futebol-feminino\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lance!<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the agency has about 300 athletes in its portfolio and\u00a0maintains\u00a0a structure formed by 36 professionals who work exclusively with women&#8217;s football. According to Zamarripa, specialization is one of the main differentials of the project.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BRAZIL ON THE HORIZON\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brazil has been\u00a0part of\u00a0TMJ&#8217;s plans for years. The Brazilian Vin\u00edcius Peron, who is part of the project, said that the intention to work in the country also arose during an MBA\u00a0program\u00a0held in the United States, when he met Zamarripa.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHe always told me that his dream was to enter Brazil and help Brazilian players have better opportunities. Now we understand that it is the right time for this,\u201d\u00a0[Peron]\u00a0said.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the agency, Brazilian women&#8217;s football is still far from reaching its potential in the international market. TMJ expects the country to become the biggest exporter of women&#8217;s football talent in the coming years.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe visualize Brazil as the largest exporter of talent in the world. Even if the World Cup\u00a0didn&#8217;t\u00a0happen here, our strategy would be the same. We will invest in the market because we believe in it,\u201d\u00a0said Zamarripa.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agency\u2019s assessment is that Brazilian players\u00a0garner\u00a0characteristics that make\u00a0them\u00a0attractive for different markets. According to Zamarripa, leagues such as the\u00a0[NWSL]\u00a0prioritize physical aspects, while Spanish football values technical and tactical issues more. In his view, Brazilian athletes can meet different club profiles, which expands the possibilities of transfer.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The growth of Mexican football\u2019s interest in Brazilians also\u00a0applies. The\u00a0Liga MX Femenil, which in recent years has expanded its investments, has become an increasingly frequent destination for athletes from Brazil.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe\u00a0Liga MX Femenil\u00a0is not just a step in the players\u2019 career.
