From my first conversations with the Club, the ambition, professionalism, and expectations to compete at the highest level were clear,\u201d said Agudelo. \u201cThis feels like the right environment to continue growing while competing for championships. I\u2019m proud to be here and ready to give everything for this team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of South America&#8217;s rising stars, \u201c<em>La&nbsp;Mariposa\u201d joins<\/em>&nbsp;the Wave from Colombian giants Deportivo Cali, where she has won two Colombian titles and lead Cali to the Final of the 2025 Copa Libertadores&nbsp;Femenina.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the international level,&nbsp;Luisa is a U17 World Cup runner-up with Colombia in 2022, was called up for two U17 World Cups, and made her debut with the Colombian Senior National Team a month before her 18th birthday during the SheBelieves Cup&nbsp;in February of 2025.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is truly exciting and inspiring to see a promising star like Luisa take on this new challenge in her career at such a young age,\u201d&nbsp;shared Guillermo Zamarripa, Co-Founder, Co-CEO and Principal Agent at TMJ.&nbsp;\u201cHer arrival in San Diego is a statement of her talent and bright future.
