January\u00a023,\u00a02026\u00a0(Fort Worth, TX)<\/strong>\u00a0– TMJ is pleased to announce that\u00a0Sweden\u00a0National Team\u00a0Forward\u00a0Evelyn\u00a0Ijeh<\/a>\u00a0has signed\u00a0with the\u00a0North Carolina Courage\u00a0ahead\u00a0of\u00a0the 2026 NWSL Season\u00a0in the\u00a0largest transfer in history\u00a0for Serie\u00a0A\u00a0Femminile, the top\u00a0women\u2019s football\u00a0division in Italy.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\u00a0native\u00a0of Malm\u00f6,\u00a0Sweden,\u00a0Evelyn\u00a0was previously with\u00a0AC Milan in Italy\u2019s Serie A\u00a0Femminile, joining the team\u00a0in\u00a0February 2024 on loan from\u00a0Liga MX Femenil\u2019s Tigres Femenil in Mexico.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move was made permanent\u00a0in\u00a0July\u00a0of 2024,\u00a0with\u00a0Evelyn scoring ten goals\u00a0during\u00a0the 2024-25 season for the Italian club, tying for fourth in the league’s goalscoring table.\u00a0In twelve games played during the 2025-26 season,\u00a0she\u00a0has scored four goals in nine games,\u00a0contributing to\u00a0Milan\u2019s\u00a0race to be in UEFA Women\u2019s\u00a0Champions League berth.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the international level, Evelyn has been a part of the Sweden National Team since 2018, playing at the U17, U19, and U23 levels before making her senior national team debut in 2024 against UEFA Nations League winners France. Evelyn has made six appearances with the senior national team, scoring two goals for the Swedish side. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
