September 18, 2026 (Fort Worth, TX) – TMJ is excited to announce that American defender and Utah Royals staple Kate Del Fava has joined as a TMJ athlete.

Kate began her professional career with Utah Royals FC in 2020, debuting during the NWSL Challenge Cup. From there, she went on to the Kansas City Current where she would score her first NWSL goal in 2022. She returned to Utah in 2023, becoming an instrumental player for the Royals and being named an Iron Woman for playing every minute of the 2024 season. She would go on to be named the club’s 2025 Defensive Player of the Year, helping the team secure a club record eight unbeaten game streak.
She was also named Humanitarian of the Year by the Utah Royals for her selfless contributions to the underserved communities in Utah, providing free tickets to matches to students and patients at children’s hospitals as well as “participating in refugee soccer clinics, attending STEM education events and volunteering at the Utah Food Bank.” These initiatives led to her earning a nomination for the 2025 Lauren Holiday Impact Award presented by Nationwide.
This season, she has contributed two goals and been named to the NWSL Best XI for May and July.
